A cylindrical drawstring pouch constructed from cream-colored linen completely covered in tiny glass seed beads arranged in diagonal rows. The beadwork features colorful figurative motifs including a teal and yellow bird, pink and red floral elements, and orange decorative details scattered across the surface. The pouch has a gathered top with what appears to be a beaded drawstring closure. The dense beadwork creates a textured, shimmering surface that completely obscures the underlying linen foundation. This type of intricate beadwork represents the fusion of European glass bead trade materials with indigenous Mexican decorative traditions during the colonial period.
